DIY Green Tea Face Scrub Recipe
1 tablespoon of green tea – instead of green tea leave, you can also use 2 green tea bags.
3 tablespoons of sugar.
1/3 cup of filtered water.
First, you need to boil the water. This is necessary to brew your green tea. You can use a small pot to boil the water.
Once the water is boiled, you need to brew your green tea. Slowly pour the water on green tea leaves or on green tea bags.
Wait for 10-15 minutes. Once you green tea is brewed, remove the bags or filter the green tea leaves.
Then, you need to wait for 30-45 minutes. Your brewed green tea must cool down.
Take another clean cup. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and 3 tablespoons of brewed green tea.
Combine these two ingredients to obtain a paste like consistency.
If you mixture is too thick, you can add more water.
When you have paste like consistency, your homemade green tea face scrub will be ready.
How to Use Homemade Green Tea Face Scrub?
Once your homemade green tea face scrub is ready, you can directly apply it on your face. You need to avoid your eye area since this area is super sensitive. Gently massage your face with your DIY face scrub. Green tea face scrub will exfoliate your skin. And your skin needs that to have smooth and bright look.
If you prepare this recipe in a larger amount, you can store it in a close container. But since this recipe ahs sugar, I don’t recommend storing it for a long time.
Also, if you are using green tea bags, you can apply these bags as eye patches. So, with one ingredient, you can prepare two DIY recipes. Actually, this is what I love about DIY products. There is no limit. You can play with ingredients and create new things.
